super fresh burgers! the only disadvantage of the drive in! if there are 5 cars in there you have to expect a waiting time of at least 25 minutes up to an hour

Best diner in town Highly recommended, especially as a replacement for the same hotel breakfasts which are usually more expensive. Great service, delicious food.

Super great location and an absolute insider tip. The food is delicious and has been furnished with great attention to detail. Also from the outside very well-kept and you feel typically American. You have to visit in any case!

Our staple breakfast joint after a night out, or just on a lazy sunday. Good breakfast menu (rec: texas for big, oriental for light) and also milk shakes! Don't expect fast service, and there is usually a queue outside.

Just awesome 😂. Great burger, price-performance ratio also fits. Service was nice and friendly. In times of Corona, however, you should order in advance. 😁

Honestly you eat here for the novelty, as an American who has lived in Germany for a year I can say this is typical diner food but it's not the greatest diner food I have had. I enjoy the food for what it is, but it's not outstanding as there are other better breakfast places in the area. The service of the restaurant is also not a high point as there are not too many waiters and sometimes when you call someone it takes upwards of 10 minutes for someone to come to you.

Delicious food (huge portion of sandwiches with chips) and great lemonade. But you have to wait a long time ... Distance & face mask partly nil. Still worth seeing :)

waste of time. Diners are known for fast service but this is everything but. The food quality of the food is poor. I had the banana pancakes but they didn’t have ANY favour. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It’s a nice try for American diner but failed badly

Had to wait 30 minutes until we were even asked what we wanted to eat or drink and then another 10 minutes before the menu came and then guests who came after us were served beforehand! It was better!

Authentic, good ole American food. Friendly, in German, English and Spanish.

The location is great, the train wagon is designed with great attention to detail. There is something to see in every corner. The food is delicious, although the finishing touches are still missing here. But the portions are big, the shakes unusual and tasty and the staff is nice, hence the full 5 stars. The Railway Diner is definitely worth a visit.

What a great experience. Tasty and affordable food. Staff are very friendly and take their time with foreign guests. Highly recommended for a fun evening in a special restaurant.

The location is interesting, the service is nice. Unfortunately the food was underground. The burger patties have the consistency of firm meat loaf, without structure and taste, the rolls are dark and dry. I've always enjoyed going there, but I won't go again. There are now enough alternatives.

Nice service, but rather greasy breakfast, where everything is thrown into one plate .. even the butter in its packaging (!) Was to be found between bacon, eggs and jam .. you could / should maybe use separate plates for it? By the way: You should leave out cappuccino altogether or work on it definitely .. that's it for now.

No card payment and quite high prices vs the quality of the food

Stay away. This is not traditional American fare. The mac and cheese is the box kind with the powdered cheese sauce. Pancakes are not freshly made. It’s almost like they bought frozen waffles/ pancakes from the grocers frozen food section and just nuked it in the microwave. Truly HORRIBLE. 2nd star is for the nostalgia hanging on the walls. Horrible.

Ambience is good, the burger passable. Mayonnaise is available at an additional cost (only 2 teaspoons). There was no soap in the men's toilet, and disinfectant stank terribly. Card payment is not possible. The shop gets around, the unusual idea with the train car is great. But it seems that the store has rested on its positive appearance. Other burger shops don't have the same ambience but more quality on their plates.

Ambience great, staff friendly. The burgers are edible, but there is plenty of room for improvement. Work should be done on the cleanliness of the location, although the tables were always cleaned with disinfection and the staff wore face masks. Disinfection at the entrance also available, BUT ..............., I got a totally dirty cutlery, was exchanged immediately when I pointed it out, but still not nice. I ate WITHOUT the cutlery. What absolutely does not work for me is that an employee from the kitchen with a cooking apron uses the toilet, wipes off her hands on the apron when walking out or whatever disappears in the kitchen over and over again😵 Had we seen this before we would have eaten elsewhere. Overall, the location made a somewhat dingy impression. Soap in the toilets empty, cobwebs in the corners, unfortunately I had hoped for a little more, because the idea is really great and the decor is really nice.

A piece of tradition that fortunately has not yet been "contaminated" by all these Lifestyle movements: Organic, Vegan ... Gourmet cuisine! Flavorful wholesome sandwiches with great combinations of ingredients. Good sandwiches and side dishes, beautiful location (an old locomotive reinvents a pub) to go back absolutely!

Sat one hour waiting for 2 eggs, some potatoes and bacon. If i would have laid 2 eggs in the sun they would be baked faster than this.

Fair prizes, good food. You need to wait for your food but it is homemade and best in whole Baden-Württemberg. 5 stars. Also Mandy's please change your Super Hero Burger to Endgame burger. 660g meat!!!!

huge and delicious burgers.

While not at affordable as back then, still pretty affordable. Good burgers, and very delicious milkshakes, nice atmosphere. Menus are not very easy to look at, but that's part of the charm, I think.
